Cross Street, New Scone, Perthshire, about 1903

The view shows Cross Street, New Scone, Perthshire, looking up from the junction with Perth Road. The Scone Arms is on the right and the Cross stands in the distance.

At the time of the photograph, the village of New Scone had been built almost entirely during the 19th century. The market cross in the distance is a replica of the original market cross of the old village of Scone. The original cross stands near Scone Palace.
