Corsiehill, near Kinnoull Hill, Perth, 1905

The view shows the houses of Corsiehill tucked away on the north-east face of Kinnoull Hill across the River Tay, east of the town of Perth. They are close by Corsiehill Quarry which was owned by the Earls of Kinnoull and which supplied road metal until about 1860. These are likely to have been quarry workers cottages. Note the thatched roof of the one in the centre and graffiti on the gable wall of the one to the right.
