Vase

.In 1946 Salvador Ysart and his sons Vincent and Augustine left John Moncrieff Limited to set up their own glassworks at Shore Works, Perth. The glass they made was called Vasart. The first three letters derived from their initials and the 'art' from Ysart. In 1955, Vincent Ysart made this vase, decorated with scattered filigree canes on a graduated yellow to mottled grey ground, as a present for his wife, Catherine.
