Magnus Jackson Photographer Studio

A view of the photographic studio of Magnus Jackson (junior) at 62 Princes Street in deep snow, probably taken after the heavy falls of 1895. Magnus Jackson (senior) was active as a wet plate photographer in Perth, Scotland From the late 1850s until shortly before his death in 1891. His two sons and one daughter had also been instructed in the business which continued to be run, primarily by his son, Magnus Jackson junior, until 1897
