Set of nesting weights made in Nuremebrg in 1572 and inscribed for Henry Adamson, Deacon of the Perth Guidlry Incorporation. Each burgess was allowed to keep one set of weights for business, these were checked by the official town weights, which were in turn checked by royal officials.
